LBD spent his time hunting rabbits and, in fact, he looked forward to the week as we did. He slept the 350-mile journey to the Dee in his basket that was perched precariously on top of all our clobber, until we reached Potarch Bridge (we went to the river before going to the hotel). There he awoke, sat up and began to bark. As soon as we reached the fishing hut he would leap from the car and immediately get a’hunting.
