I am well aware that it is not the policy of this august organ to publish tedious articles offering fellow piscators advice on ‘how to do it’. Often these repetitive and thinly-disguised pieces would be more honestly titled ‘How I did it’ or ‘Am I not wonderful?’ or ‘You didn’t catch these beauties, so yah boo sucks!’
This said, the Editor and I agree that I may have stumbled upon so rich a kernel of angling knowledge that, for the greater good of all, I should not, nay, must not keep it to myself. It is in the noblest traditions of the older specimen groups that I freely share this secret with you.
